OK, so the SUPER RUMBLE was canceled for Wednesday night but the RUMBLE @ SXSW lives on that evening with a collection of bands that are just in Austin to party, or play parties that is. Shangri-La is easy to find, it's across the street from the FADER Fort and the Don't Mess With Texas parties.

TONIGHT IN LOS ANGELES: MAN/MIRACLE @ DOWNTOWN INDEPENDENT

Since Furious entered my life I don't get around as much as before, so I'm brand new to the Downtown Independent, but this line up has me feeling like an adventure and it's the LA Art Walk after all. Oakland's MAN/MIRACLE has owned us ever since they played The Rumble: San Francisco party and we got our sticky little hands on their music. Their latest, 'The Shape Of Things' is just short of brilliant, so much so that we're featuring a track of theirs on the soon to be released Future Sounds 34 compilation. The show tonight is FREE and they also have SO MANY WIZARDS and a few others on deck, and M/M will also be doing a 6pm set at Origami Vinyl.

THE RUMBLE: SAN FRANCISCO TURNS 2 YEARS OLD TONIGHT?

Two years???? WTF?

How did it happen? The little party meant to bring together the Bay area indie rock community lasted two years? It started as an indie dance party, then added one band each party, then up to two acts performing, and the future looks like three bands + DJ's.

Harlot has been great to THE RUMBLE: SAN FRANCISCO for two years and Jacek, you are the man for taking care of every band, DJ and Rumble attendee. Watch our for those bar stools late night Drunkula....

For the 2 year party we had to come up with the cream of the crop, and FITZ & THE TANTRUMS provide that very thing. Think HALL & OATES meets ROBERT PALMER meets THIN WHITE DUKE era-Bowie. Add a big splash of Motown and you're getting close to describing FITZ and his wrecking crew as they do the entire West Coast run of RUMBLE dates in October, from Seattle to now Las Vegas.

The Rumble: SF wouldn't be the Rumble: SF if it didn't spotlight a band from the Bay area that is also destined for greatness. This month our collective team of partners have cooked up the mighty MAN/MIRACLE from Oakland. You must hear their anthemic "Pushing and Shoving".

The West Coast Rumble parties for October are set, and FITZ & THE TANTRUMS will be making the now 6 city run from Seattle to Las Vegas. That's right, Vegas opens on October 11th with our new partners NEON REVERB at THE ARUBA. Each cities line-up is hand picked and unique. October also represents our 2 year anniversary at HARLOT in San Francisco, so Fitz will be playing with upstarts MAN/MIRACLE and guest DJ's Aaron Axelsen and DJ Tom Thump.
