LOVELIKEFIRE ANNOUNCE U.S. RELEASE OF TEAR OURSELVES AWAY

San Francisco based, and Future Sounds' repped artist, LOVELIKEFIRE, have picked today to release their debut LP, 'Tear Ourselves Away' digitally. The physical release will be April 12th. The album was produced by Bill Racine whose done great albums for ROGUE WAVE and MATES OF STATE to name a few, and we've both played and witnessed this body of work live over the past year and it's incredible.

THE RUMBLE: SAN FRANCISCO LINE UP ANNOUNCED FOR JANUARY

We're wasting no time in 2009 to kick things off in high fashion up at THE RUMBLE: SAN FRANCISCO at Harlot. FS fav's LOVELIKEFIRE make a return visit to the place they destroyed almost a year ago. Newcomers and band with lots of buzz -- FRENCH MIAMI join them in our first 2-band Rumble to date in SF. Another huge score is DJ AMPLIVE (Zion I) joining Mr BAGEL RADIO, Bagel Ted at the DJ booth.

Another new addition to the Rumble: SF team is STRANDED IN STEREO, coming on board to help blow the party out even larger. As always, FREE with RSVP, $5 if you don't.

Worth the drive out to Costa Mesa tonight if you're a fan of great music. You can't help but know about our love for LOVELIKEFIRE here at Future Sounds, but add RUN RUN RUN (FS19) and a new band I'm starting to fall for, AUSHUA, and you've got yourself a solid bill from top to bottom at a great joint, THE DETROIT BAR. Aushua are from the sleeper indie rock town of Orange, CA, which I had a tour of last night (great bar out there called DISTRICT LOUNGE), but I like what I've heard from tracks like 'Sister Saves' (mp3) - thanks to AM Music Blog.
