TONIGHT IN LOS ANGELES: DJANGO JAMES + FITZ @ VIPER ROOM

Not only is tonight's Viper Room show a HELLYA! night, it's also sweet Heather's birthday party - so tonight's line up is like a who's who of the artists rising in LA. Of course dear to the FS hearts you have DJANGO JAMES & THE MIDNIGHT SQUIRES and FITZ & THE TANTRUMS playing back to back, but then you throw in DR SEAHORSE and ROB ROY. Doors at 9pm and you'll need to Twitter Heather to find out what she present to get her. Hellya!

TONIGHT IN LOS ANGELES: AUSHUA & MORE AT HELLYA!

The HELLYA! crew know how to throw a party, and tonight they have a line up at The Roxy that'll be worth catching. We love AUSHUA (FS30), and it's great that they are playing out again, but bands like 2AM CLUB, THE BROBECKS, BRAVE CITIZENS and a band that played our last Rumble: LA, CARLOTTA, make this a deep pool to swim in. I don't know THE JAKES, but I've heard good things about them.

TONIGHT IN LOS ANGELES: GO TO THE MOVIES @ HELLYA!

Ever since I first bought the "In One Era out the Other" CD, I've been a fan of LA's THE MOVIES. They are playing The Echo tonight for another quality HELLYA! night. A badddasss band. Special DJ sets by THE MAE SHI.

TONIGHT IN LA: HELLYA! PARTY

Tonight at the Viper Room, my gal Heather is throwing down. Her posters are making all the rest of us look bad - this artist is AMAZING!

TONIGHT IN LA: VENUS INFERS @ THE ECHO

Hellya! has another nasty night of music happening at The Echo this evening. VENUS INFERS are driving in from the OC with their buddies CAVIL AT REST. BIRDS OF AVALON also are set to perform on their way through the US with THE RANCONTEURS, MUDHONEY and BLACK MOUNTAIN. If you listened to them play live on my Little Radio show a few weeks back, you'll recall their heaviness brought down the entire station for a moment.
