TONIGHT IN LOS ANGELES: ROBERT FRANCIS + PETER & THE WOLF + MAGIC BULLETS

An incredible line-up is happening tonight at The Echo that best of all, is FREE! The amazing songwriting of ROBERT FRANCIS will be highlighted, and congrats to him for signing a deal with Atlantic Records recently, as well as former FS favorites MAGIC BULLETS from San Francisco, and the incredible PETER & THE WOLF. I've yet to see ANNI ROSSI live, but I'm told it's something not to miss. I spent quite a bit of time listening to Robert's record, "One By One" over the course of the rainy weekend and it's pacing and quiet magic were a perfect fit.

About to hop on the plane for the City by the Bay, for a night of great music and drinks at Harlot for THE RUMBLE: SAN FRANCISCO. BROOKLYN TONIGHT: DIRTY PROJECTORS + NUMBERS & LETTERS

I love THE DIRTY PROJECTORS (FS14) and their new CD - Rise Above!
A new act that's worth checking out for some authentic feeling americana/folk is NUMBERS & LETTERS. With songs crafted around a grandmother and the South, it's refreshing to hear something that actually comes from somewhere genuine. I love this track, 'Wading' (mp3)
