Our old buddies from FS27, THE WOMBATS, are back in LA tonight, playing the Echoplex. It's been incredible watching this band grow and gain long term fans from the fruits of a lot of hard work (I know, from a UK artist in the US?) and a fantastic live show. We had them back on our SXSW party a few years back and they smoked it. Supporting them tonight is another band we're over the moon about, AFTERNOONS. POP NOIR opens for a full house.

If it weren't enough tonight to see our beloved friends THE WOMBATS at The Roxy tonight, the cherry on top is that THE YELLING opens up the show. Now if you haven't caught The Wombats live, you're missing out on the Tasmania Devil fury that they conjure up. Hopefully you heard a taste test of what They Yelling are capable of on my radio show this week - evil good!!

Well it's almost been a year since we had THE WOMBATS at our SXSW party and it's brilliant to finally see that people are reacting to one of the funniest bands alive. If you've heard "Kill The Director", "Let's Dance To Joy Division" or "Patricia The Stripper" (FS27), then you'll understand why people are reacting.
