THE ETTES - NO HOME

I just recently came across this profile video of Poni from THE ETTES, that I had to share. If you haven't witnessed her drum playing in person and had to pick your jaw up off the floor, hopefully this will give you a glimpse of her fury. We've been enjoying their latest EP, "Danger Is" (Take Root Records) since it's arrival, and so we thought we'd share a track from it here.

FRENCH MIAMI SIGNS TO TAKE ROOT RECORDS

Congratulations go out to our friends, FRENCH MIAMI, as it was announced today that they have signed to one of our favorite SF indie label, TAKE ROOT RECORDS. They'll be releasing the album's self-titled album this fall. We were lucky enough to have them play our RUMBLE parties in SF and LA and this band is incredible live.

TONIGHT IN SAN FRANCISCO: TAKE ROOT RECORDS PARTY

The guys with the great ears at TAKE ROOT RECORDS, along with another guy with tremendous skills, MR. ROBOTO PRESENTS, are all going over to DIFFERENT FUR Studios tonight for a party that will feature THE HOOKS, plus DJ's, free food and drinks. Times are tough, free is free. 6PM to 11PM.

THE ETTES SIGN TO TAKE ROOT RECORDS

Congratulations go out to THE ETTES today for signing to Take Root Records in San Francisco, a label that keeps making smart choices. The band has also closed a deal with 2Fer Records in Spain for this, their second album, "Look At Life Again Soon". I can't stop playing the singles, "Crown Of Age" and "I Heard Tell", a couple of the strongest tracks out there right now. They also are proud to announce a tour of Europe with THE BLACK KEYS next month!
