LEMON SUN guitarist Melissa Dougherty (or one of three guitarists) is featured in this month's GUITAR PLAYER magazine. Congrats to Mel who's holding it down for all the female guitarists out there. The band started making their first full-length today in Los Angeles with producer Dave Schiffman (think Rick Rubin). I

We're getting close to the release of FILM SCHOOL's 'Hideout' next tuesday (9/11), and there's plenty of people responding. The single, "Two Kinds" is being featured on Spin.com this week.

I have to follow up on the VOXHAUL BROADCAST set I saw last night at The Silverlake Lounge. The band will be featured on the soon to be released (this week I hope) FUTURE SOUNDS 29, but the band is even better than the recordings live.I couldn't find any live footage online, but I found this video. It's 10x better live and I can easily say that this is a band you'll hear plenty about as word starts to spread.
