FUTURE SOUNDS DEBUTS....
More information on bands that debuted this week on the FUTURE SOUNDS show....
3 piece from Northern Ireland should get a lot of attention quickly, every song they sent our way is excellent, high-energy stuff. Sort of a mix between VAMPIRE WEEKEND and DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE.
This band from LA is nasty, snot-nosed, straight up rock and roll. Very diverse from track to track, I need to see this one live as soon as I can.
Wow! Some crazy-ass guitar work in all their songs, THE RED LABELS are on my Dublin hit list for the Sept HWCH Festival indeed. Download "Playdoh" (mp3)
This two piece plays on Saturday night with LEMON SUN at The Troubadour and they put on quite the live performance. Just blew out a monthly LA residency in June.

This is the kind of band that should get snapped up by a bigger label quickly, they have that sound that's built for wide-scale attention. Download "A Flight A Crash" (mp3)
This one came via the always ahead of the curve ears over at Fandango Records, and it instantly grabbed us. They've already played with The Raveonettes, The Duke Spirit, Ladytron and The Black Angels..some heavy company indeed. Download track "Jesus Won't Dance In My High Heels" it's blistering. (mp3)
I've been getting tons of great music from Ireland recently, and getting geared up for a trip over in September for the Hard Working Class Heroes Festival. This band came via Faction Records, the label in Dublin that has been on fire with a string of Irish hits that are pushing the British acts out of the charts in Ireland.
Australian four-piece of females that drop the heavy rock, dark and thick! They've since replaced the man (drummer) in the picture above, now we'd like to get them to the States!

You thought I played a lost STONE ROSES song, but in fact, it's brand new from THE RULING CLASS. Their 'Tour De Force EP' is out now in the UK. Download "Flowers" (mp3)
