FUTURE SOUNDS RADIO DEBUTS 11.02.09
Here is more information on artists that were debuts on this week's Future Sounds radio show on WOXY.....
This one came from reliable sources that are always right, and with no let down, here's BODY LANGUAGE. They are a part of the PASSION PIT camp and are playing our Rumble: Brooklyn event now thanks to this amazing EP. Unsigned
Giving credit where it's due, we got this one from one of our favorite blogs, YOURS TRULY, and fell instantly for this Kiwi act that sounds like you'd find it in Dusty Grooves. Unsigned
This Dallas trio sound HUGE, and mix lush, mesmerizing vocals with Nirvana like alternative rock. This is one band I'm going to track down to see live. Unsigned
Mixing THE SMITHS with THE HOUSEMARTINS and VAMPIRE WEEKEND and you get a cocktail that is THE CROOKES, a band that had a buzz at ITC and lived up to it with their "take-it-to-the-streets" approach, complete with a closer in the crowd. Unsigned
Those Fierce Panda cats know how to throw a party and their ITC showcase at Cellar Vie highlighted some incredible bands we didn't know in the UK. THE MOLOTOVS were one of the highlights of this year's ITC.
I was lucky enough to catch these guys in Manchester at In The City - fantastic live act that has just signed with Fierce Panda. The song speaks for itself, but it's one of five great ones I've heard initially. The real deal.
Despite this band photo, I think this one has some serious potential as a bonafide radio hit - "Brooklyn Boys" should pop out of obscurity to mainstream quickly enough. Unsigned
Call him Emeen Z, call him SPIRIT KID, I call him the one man machine of talent from Harvard. Every track passed along to us has something extra, look out for Emeen once he gets rolling. Unsigned
MARIAH MCMANUS
MYSPACE
HOMETOWN: Whittier, CA
TRACK: Standing At The Scene
Returning pride back to the musical name of MARIAH, it's 17 year old (yep, that's right, I said 17) Mariah McManus who has recently gone solo from her previous projects and dropped this stunning track with touches of BJORK and IMOGEN HEAP. Unsigned
How did this one slip past us in our own backyard for so long?? I just received a batch of songs from their new release and every track is strong. Unsigned
HOLIDAY SHORES
MYSPACE
HOMETOWN: Tallahassee, Florida
Track: Reruns

I have some good memories about GOLDHEART ASSEMBLY because I lived in a village near where they rehearsed and I think that they are great.
Quite effective information, thank you for your post.
