Hello Future Sounds,
My name is Charlie Tijerina, I was wondering if you could give our band an ear. I just want to know if you think we are up to par with the bands you put up on you blog. Future Sounds has been on my favorites for a long time, so we trust your judgement on music. We are from Houston, TX which is not far from you. We have been playing for over a year now want to know if we have a chance to be successful. Locally we have received many praises from fans and local venues. Thieves Like Us is a three-piece band with lots of traditional British band influences (Joy Division, The Smiths, etc) as well as several US bands like The Strokes, Interpol, The Killers....
