NEW YORK CITY TONIGHT: THE BLACKS

San Francisco's THE BLACKS play PIANO'S tonight, and for all NY area subscribers, I recommend paying this show a visit. Frontwoman Luisa Black has that nasty grit that drags me in, kind of like Karen O on that first EP, or PJ HARVEY.

They've released an excellent EP called 'Nom De Guerre' on Tricycle Records, and I can't stop playing 'Elegant Walk'.
